May 5th, 2004

Yesterday was going pretty normal until I was at my moms house and all the sudden I started this contraction!!! Oh my lord, it hurt so bad. My stomach was tight and it sent sharp pains through my lower back. After about 10 minutes of this constant pain, I called the doctors emergency line and they told me to go straight to the hospital. So my mommy drove me. I got right into Labor and Delivery Triage and I was soo scared cuz I hadnt felt the baby move all day long. They immediatly put a fetal monitor on me and it said the babys heartbeat was good. I was so RELIEVED I cant even explain. The contraction was still going on, it never stopped until 45 minutes later. I got a shot to stop the contractions, and they drew a shit load of blood from me. I was there for like, 4 and a half hours, and finally they let me go. They said we have an eager baby... but now everything should be ok. I was just sooo scared, I thought something was wrong with the baby, and Dan was at work, I didnt even tell him till afterwords cuz I didnt want him to worry. *stupid move* But all is better now thank god!

Oh yea I got my grades back!!! I cant even believe this, but I got a 3.67!!!! I got an A in Personality of Psych, an A- in Psych stats *which I am sooo excited for* an A- in Women and Gender Studies, and a B+ in English!!! How excited am I? Pretty freakin excited! I just wanted to share the good news cuz I really thought I wouldnt even get a C in stats, so I am sooo happy I dont have to retake the course!

I miss my fisher friends already:( I havent even seen any of my friends lately cuz I've been sick lately. I want to see Marisa and the baby but I am not gonna till my cold is all gone! Tonight me and my mommy are going to a few stores to buy gifts for the baby shower! We are even gonna work on the shower favors too:)

Its so weird to think that the baby shower is in 2 weeks!! It doesnt seem possible for it to be that soon... cuz the quicker the baby shower comes the quicker my baby comes, and I am NOT ready. The nursery isnt done yet! I mean, I have 10 weeks, but wow. Its just a reality that is setting in! I cant wait though! Dans so excited about everything, its so cute! We are in the process of getting the house ready for Dans family cuz they are coming up the weekend of the baby shower! Dan is soo excited to see them. Its hard not seeing your family all the time, so I'm glad they are all coming. This will be the first time his brother and sister have come to see us! Well...
