May 25th, 2004

Well the past weekend has been pretty hectic! Friday night was my baby shower! It was awesome. I was really scared that things would go wrong, but everything went fine! The baby got tons of gifts! The nursery is completely full! It was soo good to see all my friends again tho. It kinda felt like a highschool reunion! I hope everyone had a good time!

Also this weekend Dans family came out from Duanesburg. It was good to see everyone again. Dan was sad when they left on sunday cuz he really wishes he could see them more often. His mom kinda made me feel guilty about living out in Rochester, so now I feel bad. I hope Dan secretly doesnt resent me for wanting to live here.

Um, sunday I went to breakfast with Marisa and Laurie... man that was a flashback. We all havent hung out since senior year in high school. Laurie came back for my baby shower from Massachusets, and was leaving sunday afternoon. We talked for a few hours. It was good to be back with them again.

Yesterday was my doctors appt. I go every two weeks for the baby to see if everything is alright. Well on Friday night I started getting these red bumps all over my arms, and by Monday they were all over my body. I look diseased. So I asked the doctor and she told me I have become allergic to my pregnancy!!! Yea, not exactly too happy about that. I itch all over, and she said they may not go away until after the baby is born. I will die... I dont think I can stand another 7 weeks of this. Then she tells me that the baby is measuring a bit big... so she has me going for an Ultrasound on June 8th. She just wants to check everything to make sure the baby is growing properly. Its weird... I wanted to know the sex of the baby soo bad for months, and now that she's giving me an ultrasound, I think I wanna just make it a suprise. Its kinda like, I've made it this far, whats a few more weeks? Who knows, maybe by then I'll change my mind, but its just weird. And of course the doctor made me go for more blood work cuz of my feet being so swolen. She is doing blood work to see if I have Pre-Clampsia. I guess its pretty serious, but I truly dont think I have it. Part of Pre-Clampsia is having high blood pressure, and I dont. But its good to know she's checking everything. Alright well I'm kinda tired. Gonna go and wait for my soap opera to come on. Hopefully I wont itch myself to death:( Byes
