May 12th, 2004

Lately its been kinda hectic around here. My family is coming up to visit us on Friday, so we are cleaning like crazy. My aunt Debbie is coming in from California, and then my uncle Marvin is coming in from Vermont with his wife and 2 kids. Aunt Debbie is staying with my grandparents, so we get my uncle and his family. We painted the nursery this weekend!!! Then me and Dan put the crib up.. it looks soo cute! Everything is slowly coming together. I have an appointment with social services on Friday morning for medicaid for the baby. I need a crap load of documentation its ridiculous. But I need well before the baby is born just in case, so it cant wait. Dans been working a lot and I get pretty lonely. I usually go to my moms house and sit with my Grandma. She's lonely too a lot so it works. To make things even more busy I've been getting ready for the baby shower that is in a week!!! Next Friday to be exact! I'm so excited, and terrified, lol. So far I believe we have 30 definates! And among them is one of my best friends from high school that I havent seen in like almost 2 years! Laurie Candelora! She lives in Mass where she goes to school. But she's def coming to the shower so I am all sorts of excited! I've been making the favors for the shower, which is a pain I will admit, but it will be worth it. I've also been doing the baby games. Its funny, my mom didnt want me to have the slightest part in the shower, but without me I think nothing would be done. I've been buying the gifts to give out too. I'm trying to make them cute! All I know is that its been so hectic around here you dont really have time to take a breath. My mom is coming over our house tonight to help clean. My dad wont let me mop cuz of ammonia and stuff, so she's gonna help out cuz my dad has bronchitus *however you spell it* so he's been mad sick too.

I dont know if I've mentioned it, cuz I dont remember the last time I wrote, but its official... Dan and I are getting married at the Carriage house and having the reception there too!! Its soo beautiful! I cant wait! He likes it a lot too so its perfect. We are gonna get married in a gazebo outside in their beautiful lawn! The deposit was only $500 so we put half down and my dad paid the other half! The only thing is they dont accept credit cards... thats gonna hurt come next august! Oh well... everything will work out! Gonna go now, cant stop cleaning for too long! Byes!
